Aiming for the Crown :)

After my Life Group yesterday, I just became so fascinated with the crowns of heaven :) I never had an idea about that before and it's just so awestruck to think that more than our Salvation (this is even more than enough), crowns and rewards awaits us as we live for HIm (even it is just our act of gratitude toward His unending love) :) #effortlessbecauseitsthroughHim

Here's what I discovered:

The Crown of Incorruption. This crown is given to those who live a disciplined life. Mentioned in 1st Corinthians 9:25, "Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever ."

The Crown of Rejoicing. This crown is given to those who joyously express their faith. 1st Thessalonians 2:19, "For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes..."

Other translations explicitly say "crown of rejoicing." If you do not joyously express your faith, you will not gain the crown, put bluntly. Daniel 12:3 says, "Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever." Many scholars take this to mean, if you lead others to righteousness by expressing your faith, you will receive a crown that will shine like the "brightness of the heavens."

The Crown of Life. James 1:12 says, "Blessed are those who persevere under trial, because when they have stood the test, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him." The Crown of Life is given to those who are patient, who endure the trials and tribulations in life. Revelation 2:10 says, "...Be faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life." This crown is also referred to as the "Martyr's Crown."

The Crown of Glory. This Crown is given to those who are faithful in ministering to the world. 1st Peter 5:2-4 says, "Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them - not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away."

The Crown of Righteousness2nd Timothy 4:8 says, "Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." This crown is for all those who long for the return of Jesus. Those who do not believe that Jesus will return or do not care will not receive this crown.

I choose to Love

You're my beloved..you're my bride..

Listening to Kari Jobe's My Beloved while sitting here after another day at the field.
The song is somehow is my comfort song, not the song itself, but the knowledge of Who is singing this to me. :)

Disclaimer. I'm not gonna write about the song or something...

but about the "another day at the field" part.

Got it? Okay. Breathe. :)

Imagine my joy when once again I got the chance of witnessing and learning media stuffs outside the station itself. And yes, indeed, I didn't fail to witness and learn.

We interviewed an owner of a coffee shop this morning and their black forest was pretty much amazing and  I learned about silence.

Prayed.
Ate PANCIT! PUTO! BBQ! LUMPIANG SHANGHAI! (they have to be capitalized since it's like a Fiesta).

We then move on to a freelancer and my heart is just beating for event organizing. OR Maybe for my "forever at 21" Birthday Celebration :)

Answered prayer. We got a lessor at the House of Representatives! and It just marked my first time at the congress 9 I learned to be a model in front of Batasan, bet yah! A professional cameraman holds the cam yow. So blessed!)  I learned about mission within the Philippines. Since I'm just accustomed with a mission within campus and other nation, not really.... at mountains of the Phil.

Going back at the station after a long day of work and food, I thought that would be all. I thought..something's already different, I thought something's just so right.

Friendships. Meaningful Relationships. Acceptance.

As I viewed images, memories and feelings...What's within surprisingly came out.
They also thought of the things others are thinking about.
I thought again, I will not be affected, I will not be affected...I will not be affected...

But here I am writing about it.

Yes I'm affected. Maybe before, I cried, got so down and all. But at this moment, when pain starts to come in...

I just  looked at the sky..."Jesus...who am I without You?  without Your security? without Your forgiveness? without Your unconditional love? I think these people won't love me anymore as You love me..."

Then He asked me.."does it matter if they love you back? if they treat you better? what really matters to you?"

I thought in a while what really do matters to me..."it's You!" I answered...

"yes, it's Me...and how do I love you? How do I love them?"

I whispered, "unconditionally...."

...
He chose to love even at those times that He's drowning at incomparable physical and emotional  pain.
In the midst of rejection, He chose to give His all.

He chose to love...He chose to love...

I'll always be His beloved and I, Ycah, just like the One who chose to love me, choose to love.

This Tuesday with Mom Lanie

..

She is used.

Used by our Heavenly Father, for Him to have an encounter with us.

And today as I listened to her, He's still using her.always and forever.

Revelations. Learnings. Better faith.

. There's a black mail

The enemy would insert "what ifs" or something that we can't just let go...it will make you afraid of losing this or experience that. Stand firm on what you believe. they will not break a wall, they will enter a gate, which is your weakness. Dun ka talaga titirahin.

. In Jesus' name, by the Blood of Christ anything is possible.

There's a power in declaration. Believe that you are victorious. He did it all! Bayad tayo ni Jesus!

.choose your battle field

There are times that we wanted to save a certain church (most especially the church that you grew up with), it's like battling inside there teritory which is very much unwise. Choose your battle field well, take a stand.

. so what if I lose my life?

Afraid of dying? afraid of something that might happen?DECIDE and STAND firmly on your FAITH. BELIEVE that no matter what, HE IS WITH YOU ALWAYS. Do not compromise. Yun yon. Let go and Let GOD.

. He knows

He knows whatever you're feeling and whatever you're going through, but without a communication, it's not healthy for your relationship with Him. He is your Father, go to Him and tell Him. Do not just shrugged of whatever you're going through. Much like on a parent-child relationship. Sometimes, your Mom just know that something's happening in your life, she is hurt because you bother to tell your friends more than her...but then....what a glorious day when you finally decide to share with her all your burdens...

We need communication for a healthy relationship. Cry out to Him.

. let her to be save first

It's regarding my friends heart for discipleship. Don't pressure myself, most especially her...it will come.. and she will understand....

.struggles turn into strengths

Hah. This insecurity issue that I went through? I believe this would be my strength and one of the great testimonies that I could have with women. Be secured in His love.

.walang Kristyanong Talunan

DECLARE. BELIEVE. We'll never ever be losers!!!!

.be constant with your walk with Him

'nuff said right. Stay on FIRE!!! HE IS ALL THAT MATTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

. enjoy your season

It is God-given. He will prosper you there. You'll even miss that so, enjoy!

.We ask God, The Holy Spirit is the enabler and Jesus is our license

Taking off the Holy Spirit in the picture is one of the strategy so that the Trinity wouldn't be complete. :(((

.you're a threat, brace yourself

There's still more to come, but in CHRIST, we are more than conquerors.

.level up faith

in every struggle, our FAITH simply increase and increase and increase!

Are you excited?

Stay beside Him always.

Wag kang bumitaw..hindi ka Nya bibitawan..

In the Light!!!

"We can be the kings and queens of anything if we believe,
It's written in the stars that shine above...
A world where you and I belong where, faith and love will keep us strong..."

I HAVE OJT!!!!! I AM NOW AN INTERN.

First I got the desire.
Then I asked to pray for it.
then I'm asked if " ano ba sabi ni Daddy?"
then, I was like "oo nga noh? ano bang sabi ni Daddy?"

then I read His word. John 14 it is.

John 14

New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a];believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going thereto prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

I'm comforted and now the promise is fulfilled!!!!!!!

Wedding Gift

This year's first Youth Series reminded me very much of my wedding....with the Lord and Savior.

Let's flashback a few months ago...

My wedding is pretty much strange.

 It's  a two-day event.

Wait. I think twice with the word "event".

My wedding with Jesus is not just an event, it is simply ( i find it hard to think).... indescribable.

September 29 and 30

First Day...

I received a gift that I desired...I'll forever thank God for  my friend who told me  to desire it.

It is the gift of speaking another language. I always thought  it'll be so cool to know  another one, not just Filipino or English..maybe French or Italian or Greek. It's even a part of my dream right now to be a linguistic student and eventually a linguist.

Yes, God moves way way better than we thought He'll move.

The moment that I'm asking that for Him. All I could  just really do is believe. Over and over in my mind..".He is a good Father, He will not withhold any great things from His daughter, I'm asking in Jesus' name...He is the One baptizing me...He will...He is willing...."

While singing "Come like a flood and saturate me now....."

Like a fire shut up in my bones....

After that moment....The feeling is so weird (yes, define). I never felt something like that before...... EVER.

Doubts rushing in...."ako lang ba yon? Am I fooling myself?Totoo ba talaga to....Lord.....Lord....Lord...."

And I was so confused, I would think "no eh, I can't do this before...even the thought of doing something like that..I never ever ever...imagined doing..."

Until home...I'm doing that. It indeed edified me.

and the rest is  learning, studying, discovering, surrendering, listening, relying, trusting.....

Until this series...it just made me feel much closer to the Holy Spirit. That is God. That is a person ( not a force) and that is The Promise.

Marami pa kaming pag-sasamahan....and right now, I'm just very much thankful for He is  not just being with me but for being  in me :)

We reach more and more student. We reach every nation. We preach the Gospel. We speak. We love. We are fruitful. We are transformed.

He is given to me at our  wedding..He is with me now in my marriage..then to eternity.... :)

You want Him too? Ask. Believe.

In JESUS' Name. Amen!
