When was the last time you cried? Like, right now, earlier or two weeks ago? Can't remember the date? Then let me ask you to remember the reason.
Is it failing an exam, receiving harsh words, losing a friend, not enough money for something, fighting parents,breaking-up,unreciprocated love, not enough likes on your fb post or watching tear-jerker flicks and even MMK? Name it. It simply breaks hearts and basically, it's all about you, your life, your emotion, your world, you.
We are so lost with our own problems and at the same time with our happiness. We are becoming less and less sensitive with what's our classmate is going through or doing, less and less sensitive with what our neighbor is struggling with, less and less sensitive with the bad and old system of our community, less and less sensitivewith the national issues and less and less sensitive with the people across the globe, waiting for food, love and acceptance.
We find ourselves shrugging things off. Many of us think that it is their problem anyway,as long as my life is good,it's good. Ihave problems of my own, excuse me? Or for many of us,it's just another headline, just another article on the net, just another trending topic on twitter.Little we realize that we are gradually becoming careless. We are already accepting things just like it is the way it should be.
Did we ever realize how God's heart breaks over these things?Do we love Him enough to be sad when He is sad,to be hurt when He is hurt,or to weep when His heart is breaking?
Maybe, you do better that shrugging you say. For you will find yourself sad about it for a while, think about it for a while, discuss and analyze their problem for a while...and after that, what? What are we doing?
Are we still hopeful? Do we find ourselves praying for the seemingly impossible for our neighbor, our community, our nation and the world?
Let me just encourage each and everyone of us to be the change wherever our great God placed us.
Yes,it sounds like a fictional thing. Fictional as long as we don't start the change with ourselves.Pray for a heart that breaks with what breaks His. Love Him enough and extend yourself with other people. Help them findthe solution to their problem.
In Mark 1:41, "Jesus was filled with pity and reached out and touched him"
Let us reach out and touch lives like Jesus.
May He use us to make broken lives and broken hearts whole again in Him.
So, when was the last time you cried? May you're next one would be for Him already.
#cryforJESUS
This the way I want my heart to break.
