Master's Sun

Okay..I must admit. I feel so giddy these days. I would smile..and then there's something warm in my heart. Watching dramas or reading books is an opportunity to know a character. Watching and reading are  definitely ways of  spending sometime to know and to feel them. Haayyy.. recently..I just can't move on with this  Korean Drama called Master's Sun and the characters of Joo Joong Won and Tae Gong Shil.

I don't watch horror movie but, this drama  is an exception. Haha. :) I think "kilig" is greater than "fear" here. hehe. and oh..laughters too! :)

"Constant"

I’m just a little bit afraid of where I’m going
And it feels like a hurricane is blowing over
Though I can’t find the ground below
I’ve lived enough to know
I’ve lived enough to know

[Chorus]
You’re my constant in every moment
Constant
You’ve never failed me
All my life
You have never left my side
You are my constant

Okay I really don’t like change but I can’t stop it
I’m moving forward anyway with the promise
You are the anchor for my soul
That’s all I need to know
That’s all I need to know

[Chorus]
You’re my constant in every moment
Constant
You’ve never failed me
All my life
You have never left my side
You are my constant

Before I was a thought on earth
You knew me then and You gave me worth
When all of this is said and done
You will be the One I’m standing on

[Chorus]
You’re my constant in every moment
Constant
You’ve never failed me
All my life
You have never left my side
You are my constant

Such a Beautiful Post

This is a post from joeybonifacio.com . This is wriiten by Pastor Joey's wife, Mrs. Marie Bonifacio. It really inspired me  alot and I hope that it'll not just end with inspiration, but with action, change and impact. Enjoy!

ENDINGS & BEGINNINGS

As I (Marie), was doing my reflections the final morning of December 31, 2014, these 2 thoughts struck me:

1) LIFE HAS DEADLINES.
In a few hours, 2014 will officially be OVER. Nothing, not our strength, our popularity, our influence or power, will ever make 2014 stretch longer than it should.

No positive thinking, no Law of Attraction, no Political will, no Billions of dollars will stretch 2014 beyond December 31, 2014.

There is a definitive quality to life that is why it is important to live purposefully.

Life does not linger and wait for you to get your act together. It moves on. Family relationships, can’t be conveniently put in the freezer, to stay on ice, until you are ready to face them.

The child, you always intended to spend time with in some vague, distant future, is no longer that same child. That little kid is now taller than you. The spouse that you’ve been making a mental promise to treat better, is a different person now.

The body, you’ve wishfully attempted to workout, is either healthier or not, primarily due to the health decisions you chose in 2014. The fact that Life has a deadline, seems very obvious and the end of every year is a big reminder that time is ticking away.

One question to ask is: HOW did I “budget” my 2014?
Am I spending my life towards what really matters most in eternity?
Am I making a significant, godly impact on others that will last beyond my lifetime? What legacy am I leaving behind?

It made me think and examine myself. . . If I say that what matters most to me are:

-My relationship with God, Jesus, my Savior
-My marriage & family: Joey and our children & grandchildren,
-The proper stewardship (of relationships, responsibilities & resources) God entrusted me to have, does my 2014 reflect my deliberate efforts to value them or did they just end up as “wishful thinking”; vague good intentions but no significant impact?

Looking back at 2014, there are decisions I’ve made that I’m so glad I did, but there are also longings of things I could have done better.

I’m sure you have a mixed bag too. Rather, than getting bogged down in a mire of REGRET, stuck in the mud of self-pity or blame, It’s important to remember the next point . . .

2) 2015 IS A FRESH, NEW BEGINNING!

In Philippians 3, Paul described his life this way:
. . . I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Yes, 2014 is OVER. But 2015 is a fresh, new BEGINNING!

Such hope that brings! We have a God-given opportunity to start again and make this year MORE AMAZING, MORE MEANINGFUL than the past.

The Bible reminds us that: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)

I want to make the most of this New year! As I unwrap this gift of 2015, and take it out of the box. I want to use it properly. I want to connect with people, meaningfully. I want to be teachable. I want to value what God values and trash what has no value and only diminishes me.

Socrates put it this way: “An unexamined life is not worth living.”

Examination is painful! We all hate exams!! But it shows where we are excelling and where we need improvement. So for a MEANINGFUL 2015, this is what I’m doing:

*REFLECT:

-I will Begin and End everyday with 5 things to thank God for. (Whether I had a good day or not!) Why? Because I want to have an Attitude of Gratitude.

-I will be open to the new plans He has in store for me as I read His word daily.

*CONNECT:

- At the start of the week: I will ask God who are the key relationships He wants me to connect to that week, in a meaningful way. Who are the people God wants me to impact? Why? Because Relationships need action.

*STEWARD:

I will assess what skills, talents , opportunities, resources I have and steward them in a strategic way. It could be as simple as working out regularly, or blogging weekly, or learning new skills. Why? Because I want Him to say ‘well done”.

REFLECT> CONNECT> STEWARD.

“And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:2-3

2015 Prayer and Fasting!

I never thought that liquids and bananas could really make me last in a week! It's all by His Grace and strength (He sustained me)  and I believe it's the same with everyone who joined  this year's Prayer and Fasting!

One of the highlights of my week was last night during the Campus night - I accepted my calling as an educator and builder of the next generation.
Come on Lord, I know You'll be the one who will qualify me!

What amazed me more  was when my Spiritual daughter - Jhesie accepted the call of being a Full-time Minister! To think that she's only in her Sophomore year! (well do not look down on them because they're young) And .. and.. Grabe! Grabe talaga!

That's my prayer..for my Spiritual Daughters  to just be better than me, to be 10x better and more! I don't know, but  I could really feel like a Mom now... I'm just so proud of them!  In every growth,  in every challenges that they overcame and will overcome, in their faith, in their heart to just honor God and to know more of Him! What a privilege indeed to be used by Him in their lives and I pray to lead and equip them better!

I remember I read one of Ma'am Lanie's message to her handle na naging Campus Missionary sa Bulacan (Si Ate Tin). It's like she's saying na tuwing naaalala nya  si Ate Tin,laging nag iignite yung fire and rerefresh and na reremind sya kung bakit nya ginagawa ang ginagawa nya. Honestly ganun din yung naramdaman ko! I can immediately see thousands of young people being saved by the Gospel  through Jhesie! (Mold her pa more Lord!) And nag ignite yung fire sa akin, narefresh and ne remind ako ng purpose ko to reach out more students na may great destiny talaga kay God and sobra nyang gagamitin for the expansion of His kingdom!

Accept accept din ng calling noh?!

Napasigaw ata ako when she raised her hands eh. Nakakatulala nanaman si Lord..How could He use someone like me to reach out a future Campus Missionary? He indeed uses the foolish things of the world?! Waahhh! Sobrang in awe nanaman!

So happy too to receive prayers from Jimna and our bonding time na pagpray sa mga faith goals nya. Even sa mga moments namin nila Mela dear, Jennytots and Heart. Sobrang saya ko talaga  being with my Spiritual Daughters. Huhuhu. I love them and I pray to love them more.

I'm overwhelmed as well to have a Spiritual Sister in the workplace (Jovi) and to really maximize this week in repenting and sharing our thoughts, struggles and hopes. So blessed to ahve her here and I just really pray that our relationships  here will turn into a discipleship! Bible study/ VG in the workplace Daddy pleaseee? :) We even broke the fast together and ang saya padin even if we're not in our respective Victory centers. :)

So grateful too to pray and to be prayed for! Thanks prayer partners!
This year will be so awesome!

Above all,  the message of Honoring God in my heart, in my tongue, wealth, body and service. I want more of Him pa this year. There are commands too and a lot of trusting pa  na mangyayari! He promised an explosive blessing too and changes so may I eagerly pray for those things. Sumunod at magtiwala pa. Iprioritize pa Sya at wala ng iba pa.

Happy Breaking Folks!

"No Sweeter Name"

No sweeter name than the name of Jesus
No sweeter name have I ever known
No sweeter name than the name of Jesus

No sweeter name than the name of Jesus
No sweeter name have I ever known
No sweeter name than the name of Jesus

You are the life to my heart and my soul
You are the light to the darkness around me
You are the hope to the hopeless and broken
You are the only truth and the way

No sweeter name than the name of Jesus
No sweeter name have I ever known
No sweeter name than the name of Jesus

No sweeter name than the name of Jesus
No sweeter name have I ever known
No sweeter name than the name of Jesus

You are the life to my heart and my soul
