Jesus is the Smile

Written 2 weeks ago. 

"In darkness,in trials,my soul shall sing of His mercy and kindness,our offering of praise..." 

There are days when you don't notice that your eyebrows are meeting,that your eyes are blank,that your lips are down and that your heart is too heavy to bear. 

Everything just seemed to be so wrong when it's supposed to be so right. Down,anxious,disturb,afraid,lonely,sad,tormented,hurt,negative,worried,nervous,empty...name it,we felt it. But mostly,naming it wouldn't help at all. 

I, too have those days,those feelings. When happiness is so elusive,when a smile is like not discovered yet and when a laughter is merely a sound. I thought it was all normal before,I thought that life is that way and I just have to discover how to deal with it. But again, I was wrong. I discovered something else,someone else to deliver me from those feelings. 

Smiling for Jesus and because of Jesus 

I still don't have a radio station for internship while my dear friends are already called by TV5. We still can't pass the requirements for GMA7 since our grades are not yet complete,the chapter 2 of our thesis is still not existing,financially,it is still not easy. 
I'm struggling not to sin,I'm still afraid to minister and while I'm writing this,I'm going through that time of the month and on a mid-year praying and fasting. 

But you know what feeling this situation is bringing in the dept of my heart? It's EXCITEMENT. 

I'm excited to witness what God will do, I'm excited to discover His plans. I'm excited, excited, excited! Really looking forward for His purposes and for His name to be glorified more and more and more! 
Though we still can't escape those days that even with no reason you can't feel the joy,think of Jesus,think of how He rescued you before and be excited on how He will do it again and again. 

Smile for Jesus and because of Jesus. 

We can always testify: "Our God never fails. His love never fails"
