Shorter Lay Down Story

January 13, 2020 was a significant day for me, following the Taal Volcano eruption. A simple request from a friend, Jayson, to visit our small group leader's newborn baby led to an unexpected turn of events.

While at work, Jayson asked me to wear a mask for the visit. I didn't have one, but he assured me he had extras. Later, plans changed, but Jayson insisted we still meet, hinting at a surprise.

As I headed to meet him, a taxi with a verse caught my eye, Ecclesiastes 3:11a, "He has made everything beautiful in its time." It stirred a mix of emotions in me.

When we met, Jayson handed me masks and a box of dried fruits as a pasalubong from Cebu. Then, he gave me an envelope with a letter expressing his desire to take our friendship to the next level. It was a moment of shock and disbelief.

Despite my surprise, I managed to ask for clarification. Jayson shared his intentions and vision for us, including seeing me as his future wife.

Overwhelmed, I needed time to process and pray. Eventually, I agreed to enter into courtship with him.

Reflecting on our journey, I realized how God had been writing our story all along, shaping us for each other. Despite my initial doubts and struggles, I found comfort in Ecclesiastes 3:11a, trusting in God's timing and plan for us.

May 30

I'm saying goodbye to Jena's dream age in the movie 13 going on 30. I liked that movie since she learned her lesson that the glitz and glamour aren't everything. What matters most is being with the people you love and those who truly care for you.

I'm not a blessing financially yet but I hope to be one soon. I hold on to hope that nothing is impossible with Him - that I can be a blessing in that area too.

But first, the goal is to be faithful to what He's blessing me with. I pray to honor Him no matter what with my finances.

I celebrated my 30th with Jayson. He had a bouquet of flowers on his hand and then we ate in a buffet. It was so much fun for me because the food was good and I could say that we had a quality time. We even bought things together at Japan home. It was amazing that I finally bought a teapot!!!!!We talked about a book.. I hope we can do that again...I pray for quality time again tomorrow!

In my 30th year, I started working at BCM Manila. I never thought that I would be part of this company! It was such a miracle of God! I'm now working from home and there's room for growth! Even in my salary.

I met awesome people like TL Ace, TL Cassey and TL Lindsay.

I even joined the Team Building!

I went to Infanta Quezon. Grabe yung byahe. Parang ayaw ko na ulitin. hehe.

Pero sobrang favored ni Lord dahil ang ganda ng room and nakapag chika pa ako kay TL Lindsay and Teacher Chanel.

I saw His hand there!

I baked cookies.

I tried embroidery.

I went to Intramuros with Jayson!

I organized Arlene's bridal shower! Yay!

Attended her wedding of course!

We attended Discipleship 2023!!

We attended a worship service with Umbe and Denden!

We went to Big Rock for Nanay's bday.

So grateful!!!!

I shared what I learned on stage!

January 12 girl

January 12th

There was this girl in a gray shirt, floral skirt, and red sandals.

She was walking around Cubao.

She was smiling with her eyes.

She's so in love with God and He's so enough.

Excited as she let go and let God.

So hopeful for the year.

She knows God has great plans for her.

She's so joyful.

So content.

I kinda miss her.
